Are epoxy countertops heat resistant?

Our epoxy is very heat resistant up to 500 degrees. However like any other counter tops, we recommend trivets or hot pads for hot pots and pans to be extra catious and keeping your countertops beautiful for years to come.

How do I maintain and clean epoxy countertops?

Keeping your epoxy countertops looking great is easy! Just wipe with a soft cloth, warm water, and a little dish soap. Avoid harsh chemicals and don't cut directly on the surface—use cutting boards and place hot pots on trivets. Follow these simple steps, and your countertops will stay beautiful and worry-free!

Can epoxy countertops be repaired if they get damaged?

Yes, epoxy countertops can be repaired if they get damaged. For bigger damages, we can sand down the area and apply a new layer of epoxy that will restore the countertop. These repairs will make your countertop look new again. Contact us if you have damaged epoxy tops!

1. Repair: Grinding for best chemical bond, fixing cracks and imperfections.
2. Vapor Barrier Application: Applying a vapor barrier to improve adhesion, duribility and longer lifespan.
3. Coating Application: Applying the chosen coating material, which may require multiple layers and broadcasting of either Super Shield Quartz or our Priemer Flake Blends.
4. Curing: Allowing time for the coating to cure, which can range from a few hours to a few days, depending on the material.

5. Clean up: Clean up the property for you to enjoy your new outdoor living space.

Most installations can be completed within 1-3 days, but curing times should be considered before using the area.
